Proverbs 29:11 reminds us that “Fools give full vent to their rage, but the wise bring calm in the end.” Regularly meditating on such passages can help us cultivate a mindset of patience and self-control.

Pray for Strength: Turn to God in prayer whenever you feel your temper rising. Ask Him to grant you the strength and wisdom to respond with love and grace, even in the face of provocation. Jesus himself demonstrated this when he prayed for his enemies while on the cross, saying, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing” (Luke 23:34).
